Commercial cooperation with Hotel helka.
Hotel Helka is the most gay-friendly hotel in Helsinki. Actually, it is the best for all minorities, including gay people.
Hotel Helka is an old hotel. It was founded in 1969 by YWCA of Finland. The building itself, which the YWCA’s women built in the late 1920s, offered back then a safe place for women to live or visit. This historical fact guides hotel Helka nowadays; it is a place of tolerance, or #pinklikehelka, as they say. It's more than accepting of all minorities – the staff really try to make the world a bit of a better place. This guideline of treating all customers equally increases the power of tolerance. It’s not a trick or fancy set-up at all
Organic choices
The breakfast buffet at Hotel Helka is not the most varied, but instead of focusing on volume, it concentrates on quality and organic choices. Hotel Helka also aims to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Its staff are committed to the Green Key eco-label, which is the leading standard for excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operations within the tourism industry.
Centrally located
Hotel Helka has a great central location in Helsinki; it's easy to walk to almost all central hotspots. In the hotel, there is ongoing full renovation. Half of the rooms are already renovated; the rest of the rooms will be renovated in 2018. I stayed in one of the renovated rooms. The bathroom was nice but a bit small. The room itself was quiet and clean. Make sure you book a renovated room.
Commercial cooperation
Although this article is put into practice with Hotel Helka, my opinions are always my own and can’t be bought.
